Students
We host both Dalhousie University SLP students and highschool co-op students. If you are an SLP student at Dalhousie University who is interested in completing a placement at Shoreline, please speak with the program's Clinical Coordinator. If you are a highschool student interested in applying for a co-op placement, please speak with the person responsible for organizing placements at your school.

Support Volunteers

open to undergraduate students (or graduates) who are considering a career in speech-language pathology or occupational therapy and are preparing to apply to a graduate program

upper year high school students may also be considered

minimum commitment is 3 hours a week for 6 months

evening shifts available

activities include observation of clinical sessions, preparation of therapy materials (e.g., helping to develop new activities, laminating, cutting), greeting clients, and putting away treatment materials

Shadowing Requests
Due to our current commitments to our volunteer program, we are unable to accommodate requests for shadowing at this time.
